On July 19, Great Wall Motors officially unveiled the all-new TANK 300. Dianchetong (ID: dianchetong233) was invited to attend the launch event online.
At the earlier pre-sale press conference, Great Wall only announced pre-order prices for the TANK 300 Hi4-Z and Hi4-T. At this official launch, the company released full pricing for all five variants across the lineup, as detailed below:

Tank 300 Conqueror: RMB 216,800
Tank 300 Diesel Edition: RMB 234,800

Unlike most automakers whose launch events revolve around product specifications, Great Wall only highlighted select key configurations, devoting most of the event to the vehicle’s design philosophy and corporate culture.
The TANK 300L adopts a "two long, one short" design formula: long wheelbase, long hood and short front overhang, with a wheelbase-to-body length ratio of approximately the 0.618 golden ratio, giving the vehicle a sleeker, more imposing silhouette.
The TANK 300L Hi4-Z delivers a combined system output of 560 kW and a peak combined torque of 1,195 N·m, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Its front and rear axles support 20x torque multiplication, with a maximum torque of 6,600 N·m at the front axle and 8,000 N·m at the rear axle, capable of handling all kinds of extreme off-road scenarios. The TANK 300L Hi4-T, by contrast, features a mechanical four-wheel drive system with a non-decoupled structure, equipped with front and rear differential locks.
In terms of range, the TANK 300L Hi4-Z offers a 200 km pure electric range and a 1,122 km combined range under WLTC test cycles. It is equipped with the Coffee Pilot 3.0 intelligent driving system, which includes 27 all-around 3D perception sensors and an industry-leading end-to-end computing platform, and operates without reliance on high-definition maps.

Positioned as a large "toy" built for young consumers, Great Wall dubs the all-new TANK 300 a "rideable collectible". Its brand proposition goes: "Enjoy figurines at leisure, drive your rideable collectible on the go." As a vehicle built for playfulness, customizability and fun are naturally top priorities.
The all-new TANK 300 reserves up to 40 mounting interfaces across the roof, engine bay, roof rack and side mirrors. It features six independent power expansion switches on the roof, allowing users to control roof spotlights, off-road winches, drones and other accessories separately without modifying or damaging the factory wiring harness. Multiple pre-engineered modification points enable advanced customizations without cutting or damaging the vehicle’s original structure.
These user-centric designs eliminate the need to remove key components during modifications, making customizations accessible even for first-time off-road enthusiasts.
According to Dianchetong (ID: dianchetong233), Great Wall Motors is one of the few domestic automakers in China qualified to speak of automotive culture and brand philosophy. In the gasoline vehicle era, domestic brands were outmatched by joint-venture brands due to technological gaps. Great Wall stood as the backbone of China’s indigenous auto industry, claiming the top spot in China’s SUV sales rankings for consecutive years.

In the off-road segment, Great Wall single-handedly grew off-road vehicles from a niche market to a mainstream category in China. Debuted in 2020 with the slogan "Forge your own path where there is none", the original TANK 300 pioneered the youth-focused hardcore off-road segment. To date, the TANK 300 has amassed over 600,000 owners.
The all-new TANK 300 receives comprehensive upgrades to its exterior, interior, intelligent driving system and powertrain, plus a wealth of customization and modification-friendly designs for maximum playability.
